Very beautiful. I thought this is a type of hedychium. But then after a little Googling I came to realize this is actually a type of agave.
ReplyDeleteIt's the wet season in Maldives. The stalks stand straight but after strong winds and heavy rain, the stalks (and the flowers on it) bent towards the ground. This is one of the flowers which has the sweetest fragrance - mostly from dusk till dawn.
