Just one of my few attempts to indulge in traditional hand drawn art portraits. I am not learned in professional art and therefore there are all sorts of "mistakes" in my "artworks". In fact, this friend's elder brother, who is a renown professional street artist in Maldives, said he liked this artwork although he says he is of the opinion I have "broken all rules of art" with this work :) View large here.
Excellent drawing of your friend's portrait 👌...shows talent which should be followed up with further similar works 👍. Thanks for sharing Khilath
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome and thank you so much for your kind sentiments. I have hand drawn only four traditional art pieces to date.

I lost two of my "artworks" but there's another portrait of a Bangladesh singer who I am acquainted with. I will post his portrait here on my blog next Friday :)
I am a bit lazy when it comes to drawing/painting. That's why I switched to photography and even went to the extent of using Photoshop and FotoSketcher to adjust the photos to my personal liking even if the altered photos don't fit into the "professional rules of photography".
Why I am so distant from traditional hand drawn art is also the result of my moods: I only draw/paint when the mood comes and if the subject (person) is one I personally like. I have never drawn landscapes.
