"Dune 2" trailer proves one heartbreaking moment will happen

If you haven’t read the book, you’re not even a little bit ready for this.

How many people named Leto are there in the "Dune" saga? If you’ve never read the books, and only seen the first movie, the answer is one: Paul’s dad, Duke Leto Atreides, as played by Oscar Isaac. But, in fact, there are three Letos in the story of "Dune", and the least-discussed of the three is about to make his debut in "Dune: Part Two".

But, here’s the thing. This character has an absolutely gut-wrenching destiny, and if you haven’t read the books, you should look away right now. Urban centers contain large populations of strangers and therefore it's not easy to spread conservative values. Nobody protests the rise of the new Maldivian musicians, artists, and football players who are becoming successful sensations on both mainstream media and social media. Unless the government imposes Wahhabi ideals by force or for some reason like Afghanistan and Iran the majority of the Maldivian population embrace Wahhabism, I don't think there is any reason to fear these Islamic NGOs trying to forcibly impose Salafi lifestyles on Maldivians.

It is a sad situation if we cannot let the beauty and marvels we see around us transform us into remembering or recognising the greatness of their Creator who produced such natural beauty and allow such thoughts to increase our piety and make us refrain from doing what is hated in Islam.
