Already it has come of age and started bearing fruit as these snapshots I shot yesterday show (check the three inset pictures at the top).
This is Alikilegefaanu Magu (street) where I live in Maldives' capital island Male'.
The Water Apples are also showing signs of ripening, i.e., the color red appearing at the tip of the fruits.
Syzygium aqueum is a species of brush cherry tree.
