I sometimes put myself in difficult situations.
For example, I sometimes go shopping in the heat of noon rather than wait for the cool hours of the evening.
Until recently, I did not know that I was subconsciously building resilience: I just wanted to improve my tolerance.
From now on, I will try to employ my other senses.
Usually I avoid putting myself in unnecessary difficulties but now that a friend has recently made me realize that it builds resilience, I am going to follow her advice hereafter.
