Catullus 101

    He wrote to his brother’s ‘mute ashes’. I like that thought. Actually all the eulogies ever written in human history were written to that insignificant ‘mute ashes’ of that someone thinking that the ‘mute ashes’ matter

      I wonder what happens to us after we die. Do our clay body become part of the dust and join the energy cycle of the Universe? Or do we have a soul that goes to an eternal Paradise outside our Cosmos?

    2. On one of my visits to your amazing country the Maldives, I came across a dude eating stone apples from a tree that was growing in the premises of the Machangolhi district cemetery. I am of the view that when we die and if we are buried we become part of the soil and thereby become the food of other organisms. That is, we become part of the food chain. If I was that dude I would surely feel icky eating any fruit or vegetable growing in a graveyard :)
